Overview

A grounded, grammar-first introduction to the Arabic language.

Arabic Foundations is built around Lisān al-Qurʾān, Volume 1 — a classical, structured text used to introduce Arabic grammar, sentence construction and vocabulary from first principles. Rather than isolated phrases, students learn the underlying system of the language, so that reading and comprehension improve because the grammar behind them is genuinely understood.

The program is designed for students whose priority is understanding how Arabic works, particularly for the purpose of engaging directly with the Qur'an and classical texts.
