We offer two complementary Arabic programs: Arabic Foundations, built on Lisān al-Qurʾān, and Applied Arabic, built on Al-ʿArabiyyah Bayna Yadayk. You can study either on its own, or combine both through the Complete Arabic Pathway.
Arabic Foundations teaches how the language works — grammar, sentence structure, reading and text analysis, aimed at Qur'anic comprehension. Applied Arabic teaches how to use the language — speaking, listening, conversation and pronunciation for real-world fluency.
If your goal is mainly reading and understanding the Qurʾān, Arabic Foundations is enough. If you mainly want to converse, choose Applied Arabic. For full fluency — grammar and speaking together — the Complete Arabic Pathway is designed for that, and saves $35 a month over enrolling in both separately.
No. Both programs begin at Level 1 for complete beginners. If you already have some background, contact us before enrolling so we can help place you at the right level.
Arabic Foundations runs 2 live classes weekly of 2 hours each (4 hours in total), over approx. 5–6 months. Applied Arabic runs 2 live classes weekly of 1 hour 30 minutes each (3 hours in total), over approx. 7 months. The Complete Arabic Pathway combines both for 4 live classes and 7 hours weekly, over approx. 7 months for the initial stage.
All classes are taught live online, so you can interact with your teacher directly. Every class is also recorded and added to your student portal in case you need to revisit it.
Nothing is lost. Every class is recorded, so you can watch it in your own time through the student portal. You can still submit that week's homework and receive feedback as usual.
Yes. Teacher support between classes is included in every enrolment, so you're not limited to the live session alone.
Both programs include regular homework set after each class, designed to reinforce what you've just learned. It's kept proportional to the two or four hours of weekly instruction, not overwhelming.
Yes. Homework is reviewed by your teacher, and you receive personal feedback on your work rather than a generic score.
Periodic quizzes and assessments are built into both programs to check understanding as you progress through the material, alongside the ongoing homework and feedback cycle.
Your teacher tracks progress through each level using homework, assessments and class participation. You can view where you stand at any time through the student portal.
